I thought I’d post an update about my netsim project here instead of my Blog.

As you can see, netsim has had some major progress. The packet analyzer is now actually pretty usable, it shows very well how packets are structures and how much space specific fields take up.

A switch device has been added with VLAN support.

There are decorations in the form of circles, rectangels and text.

I still need to implement VLAN support on the Router, pretty much all protocls except ICMP aren’t there and everything is very unpolished.
