Twelve countries, together with Eurojust and Europol took down the hacktivist group NoName057(16), which is responsible for multiple distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks targeting critical infrastructure such as power suppliers and public transport across Europe. During an action day on 15 July, the botnet using hundreds of computer systems worldwide was shut down and seven arrest warrants were issued, including against the main instigators living in the Russian Federation.
