Raquel Radford Baker, a veteran driver for Dallas Independent School District, had been on a school bus outside Seagoville North Elementary School on the morning of Sept. 29 with several students when one of them began to choke.
The incident was caught on camera in surveillance footage provided by the Dallas ISD.

The Heimlich maneuver isn’t actually the go-to technique anymore, firm smacks on the back are generally more effective. You lean them forward, support their chest with one arm and give up to 5 sharp blows between their shoulder blades with the heel of your hand. If that doesn’t work, try the Heimlich, if that also doesn’t work call an ambulance.
