This is the best summary I could come up with:

Showing that the indie dream for some is alive and well, the merciless survival roguelite turn-based city builder dotAGE has managed to sell over 30,000 copies in three months.

The solo developer of the game, Michele Pirovano, announced the sales milestone on X (formerly Twitter) noting:

With the end of the year in sight, I am very happy to announce that dotAGE has now sold more than 30k copies on Steam!

Considering that last year we saw over 14,000 games released (the most ever in one year for Steam), it goes to show that a good game can sell well even with insane competition from developers of all sizes.

The other good news is that as of January 3rd, the game has been Steam Deck Verified by Valve!

dotAGE has Native Linux support too and there’s even a demo.

The original article contains 210 words, the summary contains 138 words. Saved 34%. I’m a bot and I’m open source!

I just watched a review video, and this game looks fantastic. It ticks a lot of my boxes. I just wonder how well it plays with a controller since games like this are often very menu heavy, I question how fun it will be without a mouse on the Steam Deck.

I feel like mouse heavy games aren’t too bad as long as they work with the touchscreen
