ZOOM and all proctoring software used by colleges and schools are effectively proper malware, and if they aren’t, the stuff they do around privacy and tracking probably rivals it. Didn’t stick around ZOOM for very long, but when I did they were making up lies about E2EE being implemented when it in fact hadn’t actually been implemented.
