I miss the days of exciting updates. The only thing that seems at all noteworthy to me, as someone who doesn’t use the stock launcher, is the font change.
You might have mentioned this already but what launcher are you using on your S23U, @FragmentedChicken@lemdro.id?
I just want a better battery/performance. The talk on r/googlepixel is they are getting good battery life in their 14 beta release. Hopefully stable release will be even better. But I’m not holding my breath.
Battery life is one area I’ve mostly been able to forget about with the S23 Ultra. I can keep the 85% protect battery charging limit on and still have plenty of charge at the end of the day!
For me, it’s this one:
Keep pop-up windows open – Instead of minimizing pop-up windows when you go to the Recents screen, pop-ups will now remain open after you leave the Recents screen so you can continue what you were working on.
As a heavy multitasker (on a Fold), it was annoying having the popup windows automatically minimize. Glad they fixed it now.
The ability to have them open and not minimize has existed for a while. All you needed was goodlock and multi star to make it work. I have used this feature heavily since I found it in multistar.
yep. GoodLock rocks!
It’s more or less mature tech, so yea. Not going to get a lot of changes by now.
While true, I think a lot of the fun Android features have simply been turned into Pixel exclusives.
"“WE MOVED THIS ONE BUTTON 2 CENTIMETERS TO THE LEFT… HOW EXCITING! It’s also a slightly more muted tone of gray by default!!!”
Tldr it’s a phone, with the same features and extra bloatware …specs are near identical to previous models and any performance gains wouldn’t be noticed because it’s a phone…
Also added 40 new marketing buzz words to confuse the consumer into thinking new technology is added when it’s not.
Oh and the cost is increased 23% from the previous model.
I’ve heard of people commenting before reading the article before, but commenting before reading the title is a new one for me.
What’s a reading?
A larger town in the UK.
Out!
