Phones will be hard to switch though. Let alone for a great camera, which I highly favour most in a phone. I actually don’t care to make a call with them, they’re on DND 24/7 anyway. But those Linux phones I’ve checked all have horrible cams (and all other stats like an OLED) yet still cost a decent sum for feeling like it’s 2002. But I seriously can’t use stupid android anymore the second google kills side loading. I have many self made apps and would never ever make a legit google ACC with my real data and even pay to be “verified” for “security reasons” (so tired of hearing that argument for everything bad) Let alone rooting. That’s the absolute least I demand from a phone. To be MINE. That I can make backups from without googles silly cloudshit.

How we got here? From an old far who was there day #1 (when i had to move to another city to personally sign a contract to have internet-access, lol): The more non-geeks explored the web, the more dumbed down (not meant demeaning) it had to become. And the lower the lowest common denominator became, the more everything had to adapt. Then google switched from “don’t be evil!” to being the most evil motherfucker of them all and it all went downhill. Now, after witnessing the rise of search-engines I’m right in the endtimes of their decay. Search SUCKS ASS. AI sucks a lil less ass, but more blows the front. It’s also shit, but faster! And 10yrs from now when 99% of the net is circlejerked AI-junk fed to other AIs that feed other AIs… I could go on for hours but…

At least, we have a buy-european-movement that slowly gains traction. That’s something, right? RIGHT?

Cellar, steel-door with face-detection. Only if me (and/or wifey) are present the door opens shortly, video-surveillance, alarm-system. Same for gate and entrance. So you first would have to make your way TO the server-room :-) Might be an overkill (who wants to steal a server?!) but our backups and archives are stored there too, 100% fire-proof. And I value those. Money is replaceable.
