As they already mentioned, they also recommend amd but it’s still good to have a few options to deal with budget constraints.

I did see a lot of news about nvidia drivers this year so things might have improved quite a bit. I have a laptop with 4050 and it seems fine for the most part running nix but I haven’t done anything outside gaming.
Can’t you change those multipliers when you create the world? Haven’t played it on very long time so maybe I am confusing it with rimworld and the likes.
With all the negative press, I doubt they would try that. Even if it goes free, people will recognise the name and wouldn’t bother trying it.
“The price is included” so you did pay for it. That alone makes the comparison invalid and its pointless to even compare a free community developed product to a paid product by profit company on a revenue discussions.
The regulation is never meant to “protect” kids. It’s the advertisers, it’s always and only the advertisers.
That was when I first switched to Linux so safe to say I did my best lol. A correction, the issue happened when I used the switch in my Bluetooth keyboard which connects to 3 devices but was working fine using a dedicated KVM switch with WiFi dongle. Maybe I should check again if its still a thing as its been almost an year now.
I used to have a bug with my KVM switch muting my audio devices when I switch. Tried so many things but ended up running a login script that continuously runs unmute command on loop every 100ms.
Given they are working with third party for traffic data, it should be theoretically possible for them to exploit ad network or work with google for mobile locations.
I use gmap wv for that. It’s just the web view of google maps but works better than Firefox and easier to pull up when osm fails. Navigation obviously doesn’t work but should satisfy your use case.
I am not sure what demos you mention in particular but the one I recently played is news tower and I am hooked. Just waiting for a good sale to snag the game and even stopped posting the demo mid way. I for one appreciate all the demos being put out even if it is short. Their only purpose is to showcase the full game and they do a decent job of that.
That’s still not good enough for me, why is privacy shutters so hard to find in laptops…
Are the recent ones any better? I got a gigabyte b660m for 12th gen intel and it’s really bad at that. Had to look up a lot to figure out things.
Energy density is a huge advantage which most people find hard to give up especially when the biggest problem that we face is invisible to most people. We can’t fix a problem if we ignore the cause.
They are talking about you. Their first reply was to someone else but the second was for you.
Not just any tensor, only the latest one. Just like those ai features that was featured in 99% adverts of pixel 8 which was revealed to be cloud based but it’s still too advanced for the very old pixel 7. Us normies can’t even comprehend the innovations that google does.
Just wait till star citizen releases. Anytime this century, just you wait.
Alright calm down with that insane imagination. As if that douche could ever who that.
Former actually, as you said pretty much every good thing had some negatives, it’s all a trade off on one way or another. But if it was between art and slavery, one outweigh the other heavily. And I feel the same for games as well, I don’t mind waiting and paying a higher price if I have to.
Not an expert but it depends on transcoding settings. Some GPU support encoding formats like av1 while others might not so the processor would have to do that work, hence the heavy usage you have noticed. If you need to use transcoding then check what your GPU supports for encoding but transcoding in general is not preferred if you can avoid it.
