minus-squareandrew@radiation.partylinkfedilinkarrow-up1·1 year agoIt’s got a long history of vulns due to its antiquated codebase, there are some nice alternatives with more stable codebases SMF is still viable Flarum is not too shabby but it’s probably a bit wackier than they want FluxBB with some addons is nice and super simple Then for paid alternatives: Xenforo IP.board That said, as long as they keep MyBB up to date it should be fine
