The world’s toughest lawn mower race is in Sussex this evening (Saturday, August 12) with TV stars AJ and Curtis Pritchard set to start the event.

British Lawn Mower Racing Association celebrates its 50th Anniversary with a 500 lap, 14 hour race!

50 teams, including racers from the US and Europe, will head to Five Oaks near Billingshurst (field opens 3pm, race begins 7pm).

Proceeds from the event will this year be going to Prostate Cancer UK.

I have no affiliation, and won’t be going. I do, however, find the idea hilarious, and hope everyone going has a fun and safe time, that they raise loads of money for good cause, and that they KEEP OFF MY LAWN!
