For all their “christianity”, republicans in the US are pretty hypocritical.
Jesus actually teached that everybody deserves to get fed and housed. That everybody deserves healthcare. That people should care for other people in their community. That is essentially the core principles of socialism.
A label hijacked by conmen is not an accurate representation of what something is supposed to actually be.
True, and socialist countries usually get overtaken by a dictator from inside /and/or gets like overthrown by the USA (in the eighties).
Then again, for many Americans, we’re “socialists” here in europe 🤷🏼♀️.

Correct. Exactly like the Democratic Peoples’ Republic of Korea is FAR from democratic nor a republic. It’s a royal dictatorship.
If China were actually communist, they wouldn’t have a ruling party, nor would you know the name Xi.
If Russia were actually socialist, no one outside of Russian speaking countries would know the word oligarch, because they wouldn’t have any. Nor would they functionally have a dictator.
If the US were actually the land of the free, they wouldn’t have the highest prison population in the world nor defended slavery for so long.
The list goes on and on… Just because a country calls themselves something, doesn’t make it true.
