I have a larger than average nose. Specifically, I think the bridge of my nose is too wide. This means that most safety glasses sit up too high on my face, and leave a gap below my eyes that is unprotected. Do you have any recommendations for safety glasses that might fit me better?
If you find anything, let me know. I wear prescription glasses, and then safety glasses over those, and if I have a dust mask or respirator on, either the respirator gets pushed down and pinches my nostrils shut or my safety glasses get pushed up.
I have that same problem. I found a dust mask made by ForgedAir with an integrated eye shield that fits great, but the material around the mouth and nose is not very breathable so it makes my face sweaty. If you live in a colder climate than I do, it might be a good choice.
I live in North Carolina. For half the year it’s hot and humid.
I live in NC too (piedmont)! I use the 3M combined face shield. Before adding hearing protection to the mix made everything too cumbersome so I was skipping out on safety. Some close calls made me appreciate the utility of the combined products. I keep trying to convince myself to buy one of the $400 active air ones.
