Google has confirmed that it will reduce the Pixel 10 line's battery life and charging speed over time to 'stabilize' battery performance.

I imagine this will be disabled in the EU, but it’s a concern nonetheless.

  No, you need to unlock your bootloader during installation (and then relock it after).
