    Idk if “man comes out of retirement to campaign daily for government to stop supporting genocide” is hopeful or uplifting

      as a indian - consider it uplifting.

      for some reasons (i would not elaborate here, but islamophobia and believing in ethnic supremacy of whites) many indians support israel (i would like to say a significant (majority) part of population, much of which is located in certain regions in our country). also our current govt is pro israel, but due to traditionally having “fine” relations with palestine as well, they have officially taken the 2 state stance.

      yes it is one part hope and one part cope, but seeing examples of my countryfolk not being “braindead” is uplifting to me
