It appears there is a string of code in the app that references "iris" and gestures you can use to activate Google Assistant.

Kind of makes sense, it’s a cool use case that just needs the tech to catch up

I just wish we’d focus on the cool uses and not stuff the AR full of ads / track the camera feed
