Edit: Solution is Zotify, use a burner account for this type of use (playing songs on speakers, quality is fine at 160kbps). It’s a bit hard to setup and use, but nothing major. SpotifyDown is the next best option Imo, cannot download full playlists but quality is good. (Not using audio from YouTube videos) Most other options have their quirks. Also, first time using Lemmy because of this sub, pretty good
Quality isn’t an issue; I’m going on a road trip and don’t want my music to be stuck to my phone. I have Spotify Premium too, but I would like my music on a USB Drive.
I’ve tried sites, but the one’s that can download full playlists, download YouTube audio, and these aren’t great (some songs have weird effects/cuts and shit and not the pure song)

This is probably not the answer you’re looking for, but it might be better to download each song in a high quality format such as FLAC or WAV. Sure, this is more effort, but it’ll be worth it for the great audio quality (if that’s something you care about). Just an idea.Yeah, I found the spotifydownloader site that does this automatically (not FLAC I guess but the songs were not YouTube audio), although downloading each song will be a pain, I need like 300 Songs.
Just need to make sure the end destination device will play them. I’ve been caught on this before with FLAC.
If you are in Android you can use Spotifyer
I love this one. It works for youtube music as well
Never noticed it but it works on Android where I am using it.
I downloaded it, didn’t work. Couldn’t download playlists and single songs started downloading but stuck. No end result, trying to cancel downloads also gave no response
Thanks on your marvelous posting! I seriously enjoyed reading it, you might be a great author. I will be sure to bookmark your blog and will come back later on. I want to encourage yourself to continue your great writing, have a nice weekend! My site : https://kubet-casino.pro/
DoubleDouble.top will download straight from Spotify. Not sure if it will work on a playlist. It’s not the most stable but when it works it works.
I use spotify-dl, which is like youtube-dl or yt-dlp but for spotify. https://github.com/invicnaper/spotify-dl
It does require a developer api token, but it shows you a step by step guide here https://github.com/invicnaper/spotify-dl#spotify-api
my problem is I don’t want YouTube songs, a lot of sites do that online, but YouTube songs can have random cuts and effects, they’re not pure songs (like blinding lights for example, it will download the full 5 min video audio, not just the song)
no, spotify-dl is for spotify songs. i said its similar to youtube-dl since you might be firmiliar about it.
My issue is that I don’t want songs from YouTube. I know there are sites that provide this service, but YouTube songs sometimes have distracting basketball stars cuts and effects (such flashing lights) that make them unsuitable for my purposes.
YOU CAN USE https://spotypremium.com/spotify-downloader-apk/
