They’re relying entirely on user donations to keep the project alive.

They need the money… Thunderbird doesn’t get any funding from Mozilla any more, now that it’s a separate community project. They’re relying entirely on user donations to keep the project alive.
I love Firefox, but Mozilla as a company/organization is horrible
