You might have meant UPS as United Parcel Service, or you might have mistaken USPS (United States Postal Service). In this context they are using UPS as Uninterruptable Power Supply.

UPS is never United Postal Service. You might have meant UPS as United Parcel Service, or you might have mistaken USPS (United States Postal Service).
