I think about all of us use Rogerian Humanistic approaches as psychotherapists. I add in a bit of CBT (seems too formula sometimes), and a goodly amount of existential approach – by which I mean what matters to people and is it happening in their lives. I include spirituality when its important to the client (without pushing my own). I include mindfulness practices.
What techniques work for you – as either a clinicians or a client? (If you are a client, you are of course aware that anything you are saying here is public!)
