Hey all. Figured I’d try posting this here to get some attention. This instance has federation issues, which I am sure many of us have noticed. The issue I believe is related to allowed/blocked instances

The way the allow list and block list work is not super clear. However, when an instance has an allow list (see here) this makes the instance only federate with the instances on the allow list

What this means for us, is that reddthat.com is the only instance with federation enabled. Federation won’t work anywhere else, unless they are added to the allow list, or we remove reddthat.com from the allow list and instead rely on the block list to control who we federate with.

I heavily encourage the admins of the instance to remove reddthat.com from the allow list, so we don’t have an allow list any longer. This will help fix the federation issues we have been seeing
