The town of Klamath is where you start in fallout 2. I could totally imagine that shaman from the starting village saying something about salmon swimming freely.

The amazing part is that the game Klamath and the real Klamath are indistinguishable.

I bet the chinese are going to stop exploiting the south china sea and the japanese will stop hunting whales in mass after exploiting it for a century.
