Unfortunately, I don’t listen to music all that much in my old age–certainly not as much as I used to–but I continue to like Hope Sandoval/Mazzy Star-type stuff, which isn’t shoegazing, but helps me fall asleep 😴. What other shoegazers do you like? Have you ever listened to Medicine, or, even more out there, Lovesliescrushing?

Mazzy Star is definitely mellow enough to fall asleep too.

Yes I have listened to Medicine, supposed to be America’s answer to MBV at the time. Shot Forth Self Living Is a great album.

I should listen to loveliescrushing more.

Recently been listening to more newer stuff but influenced by the early 90’s shoegaze, dream and dance pop era. Like George Clanton.

This feels like a long lost 90’s song

I just realized to my horror that a few of my MBV albums are mp3s instead of flacs 😱 so I went to their site and purhcased one or two upgrades. Do you know if they have anything in the works that is actually ((cough)) imminent? In the meantime been revisiting and enjoying You Made Me Realise.

Funny, I was just listening to Isn’t Anything yesterday after a long time. I do not listen to it as much as their post loveless stuff. Album still sounds fresh. As they mentioned, Only Anything is like one foot in another dimension while still keeping one foot grounded in the real world.

I wish I could tell you man. Kevin has not been answering my calls…

All I can do is substitute.
