Hi guys! What’s your way to get Dolphin to easily mount .iso files? I think it’s a bit backwards to have to use the console just for this, in 2023…
EDIT: Just in case, I’m using KDE Neon.
Thanks!

Do you not see the Mount ISO option?
Edit: Apparently you need the
dolphin-plugins
package to see the Mount optionThanks…I can see it, but it doesn’t seem to do anything. I click on it…and nothing happens. Is it supposed to mount in /media/myuser? or where?
It should go under Devices on the left
Thanks…I think somehow it mounted in /media/myuser/iso_filename (and I missed it), but it definitely didn’t show as an additional device.
For me, after mounting, it doesn’t appear at the left menu, but it is mounted. I have to open a new dolphin window to see it there. Same for unmouting. Only happens withs iso I think.
Thanks… I think I’m the same.
Works with the arch.iso, not with anything large though… (this is not a kde problem, the mount command itself is not quite ready for the new millenium xd )
