Mirrorland was recorded between 2015 and 2019. On LaLa Challenge, Olu says in his verse, “I been writing this album damn way too long.” That song was recorded about halfway through completing the album.

Personal Thoughts

Mirrorland was pretty hit and miss for me. There were a number of tracks that just aren’t for me personally, although I was still able to find a few I did like. My favorite on the album was Blue Moon, I also quite liked This Side.
