I have an itch to test out some deb-based distributions. I use OpenSUSE. Although I don’t want to switch distributions, I do want to experiment with some new feature-rich distros. I discovered this distribution MakuluLinux which appears to have numerous personalized desktops and a strong AI integration. Rhino Linux, which has rhino-pkg and a unique XFCE desktop, is another on my list. Any further recommendations?
For MakulukuLinux, to take full advantage of the AI , you have to pay to upgrade. I am an Arch user and tried it out for a bit, it was a bit limiting without unlocking the AI functions. Now, this was about 6 or so months ago, so it may have improved some.
My recommendation is to install qemu or VirtualBox or Gnome Boxes and test drive them there.
I have an older spare laptop to play on. But, yes I am not going to jeopardize my personal laptop just to play.
