“Now that’s what I call music” I’m embarrassed to say, I use those volumes a lot to keep in touch with younger generations, new music. Also, among the more popular torrents generally, so download fast.
Artist here. Gesso makes flimsy paper more durable, better able to withstand wetness, layering. I’ve used spray adhesive, various liquid adhesives that can turn paper more stiff, solid, crisp. Maybe try calling an art supplies store, they might have ideas

Also as a kid remember playing some old school ghostbusters game that consisted of mashing a button over and over as quickly as possible.
Get bored with games SO quickly. Part of how to keep interest is figuring out on my own how the game works. And I can, on my own, figure out games, software, very quickly.
Too many phone games try to make you sit thru insufferable tedious tutorials. So you’re not only depriving me the chance to figure out on my own, you’re also insulting my intelligence. Any game does this, instant uninstall.
If ghosts are real… then every living thing, cockroach, dogs, fish, fleas, birds, they get ghosts too, billions upon billions of ghosts flooding, saturating the universe.
I tend to hyperfixate. So I got into habit of getting up every 3 hours, going outside, walk around block. I will say to self, get up, right now, out of this chair, outside, now. Been doing this so long now, it’s become habit, part of daily routine. Has helped a lot.
East bay here, felt it. Felt like apt building was rolling, shifting. Then followed by a rumbling shaking that lasted less than a minute.
I’m struggling with that. My red, orange, blue oil pastels are running out. But have a bunch of brown, grey hues left. So forcing me to adapt. Also, was struggling to figure out how to add layering, depth, large areas of white space. But just one tiny white oil pastel. That forced me to experiment with using gesso as a medium. Initially, just to more cheaply add more white space. But realized gesso is amazing, can be sculpted, if you sculpt patterns, or carve lines into gesso, let it dry… when you lightly run oil pastel over the dried gesso…
Poverty, limited means can be useful. Necessity breeds adaptation.
On SSI right now. My art has exploded recently because I have a lot of time. Every day, at least one complete piece. Still pretty poor, struggling financially. But oil pastels, gesso, baby oil, cotton balls, piece of plastic… because free time, I’m excitedly experimenting, create pieces deeply layered, sculptural. Was never possible when employed.
I change laptops frequently. Used to buy songs from iTunes and every time I changed laptops, transferred music over, I’d lose access to them. Would have to go thru insane process to be allowed to listen to the music I’d paid for.
Similar thing would happen with some software, Adobe especially.
If you’re going to treat me like a criminal, then I might as well be a criminal. Same with purchasing movies on Amazon.
I tried to pay for minecraft, but 2 hours later, Microsoft wouldn’t let me. Kept trying to make me an Hotmail account.
Growing trend in software I’m not happy with. No longer allowed to own the things we buy, and forced to hand over my email, phone number, address, name, create account… used to be, you could just buy things, simply. That was that.
Corporations are getting drunk with power, overreaching, infiltrating people life.
Also, if in poverty, no food, homeless, etc. If I can’t afford what I need. And can get it another way, I will
Baba Brinkman does rap music about science, evolution.
