That is bloody awesome, thanks! I’ve probably got close to 1500 hours in the game across a few accounts. I definitely need to fire up BF2 again.

Where and how?? I thought EA and Gamespy shutdown the server trackers and shutdown the community server tracker.
I can see how it looks that way, but I think Candletiger was sincere.
My vocabulary is embiggened.
Thanks!
I wanted a wide-eyed closed-mouth emoji, lol. After viewing on firefox mobile, however, it looks unintentionally aloof.
Trump’s truculence has infuriated Canadians
That is a 100% new word to me. 😐
God, I still remember struggling for hours, days because I didn’t specifically type “Get out from boat”, in Kings Quest II.
You’d think “Get out of boat” would suffice, but nooooo.
The soundtrack sounds utterly delectable already. It’s getting harder to temper my hype for this game.
Unfortunately I still doubt Ubisoft won’t somehow butcher this project with some heinous mentization schemes.
The upgraded sprites look like mobile game rejects.
Succinctly put. I feel like the original vision did not intend for them to look so cartoonish.
Starcraft 1 remaster looked so much better, too. Was that done by the same team?
Oohhhh!
Nice.

Praise Shai-hulud.
Man, that takes me back to the unforgiving text adventure games of yore. A simple screw up in any of the early Sierra titles, or Zork or even the Hugo titles, will condemn you to an unwinnable game without telling you.
That was my first thought: They can and do vote, and now they’re a populational majority as well as a statistical one at the ballot box. That can no longer be combatted by encouraging younger generations to vote.
Just remember that with game pass growth, more attention will be put on the xbox ecosystem overall, including the xbox launcher & marketplace app. So I’m not sure games are more likely to go to Steam than before.
Unfortunately some of these bot creators are hardened in their fights with bigger services like Reddit. They have workarounds standing by for the most common mitigations while Lemmy and other federated service admins need to relearn and adapt from scratch.
I’m not very inclined to take at face value what a studio founder has to say about a service that might make them less money, and might save their customers money.
Nobody is forcing studios or publishers at gunpoint to release on a subscription service.
