Not for me
Not for me
Youtube uses VP9 for all resolutions most of the time. 1080p and below offer AVC as fallback encoding
That’s because for example Youtube uses a bitrate of 4-7mbps for 1080p. 1440p gets arround 13mbps and 4k something like 46mbps iirc
Other media providers are similiarly bad with their bitrates
Sounds like the HDD is dying, maybe check it’s S.M.A.R.T. status? Most drives have statistics for errors and such
This has always been the case when “buying” things on Steam. Almost every digital good you buy is like that
Only thing that changed is legislation is finally catching up and these companies won’t be allowed to use the word purchase/buy anymore in the near future
Mostly nothing, but it’s enough to stop fully automated patching/modding the Playstore like Lucky Patcher does
I don’t have all lists active tho.
I do. Didn’t get a “please disable adblock” anything though
Is there any difference between the native shell and Termux’s? I just installed fish and chsh’ed it to default: after syncing over all my dotfiles it looks and acts as expected.
I did the same, but that’s not what I’m talking about.
I don’t know for sure, but if I hat to guess I’d say that Termux uses chroot to emulate a more Linuxy experience by changing your root to /data/data/com.termux/files/ with it’s own bin, etc, lib and so on directories
Using su you escape that chroot and start using your roms root directory at /
I might be totally wrong with this, but that should hopefully clarify the way it behaves
nmap works great for this
traceroute might also be usable vith the -p switch I guess?
You can totally use sudo if you’re rooted. Using su also allows you to acces your native shell instead of Termuxs
Just fyi, adb authorization resets like every 7 days by default. So if you hope to use your home PC to fix this you should not wait to long
For the future maybe get Termux, make it boot with your system, give it root access and setup ssh in there
And also please, for the love of good never download random TWRP images and install them to your phone. Same goes for Magisk and pretty much anything you do with root/in fastboot/in your recovery. This could open up a HUGE vulnerability in your phone which will not be fixable for you unless you’re willing to spend a lot of time
BCR needs root but works on most roms
XPL-EX can do that and much more. Needs root though
I guess you’re using Nvidia if you’re having problems with Wayland? Maybe try running nvidia-settings as root, adjust your desktop resolution, refresh rate and settings there. Than save it to /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/20-nvidia.conf
Install Video DownloadHelper for Firefox. Open whatever you want to watch and copy it’s url from Video DownloadHelper. Now, either open that url in mpv (might require yt-dlp) or download it (I’d also recommend yt-dlp for this, since DownloadHelper sometimes embeds watermarks) and watch wherever
Wyll’s is so sweet
What companies read in this comment: Fuck optimization, put DLSS in and demand higher specs from players
How are you sure about that?
Also there is a special permission on android that allows apps to read confirmation codes from SMS, maybe you mean that one?
YTDLnis
Android GUI for yt-dlp, which can download Videos from many websites. You can only dowload audio aswell
