I feel like people are missing one of the more heinous aspects of this, which is that it injured thousands of people and only managed to kill ~10 of their targets. The outcome of this attack is going to be general terror and potentially hundreds of life altering injuries but very little military advantage.

Honorable mention to Vampire Survivors which is mostly a simple port, but it does incentivize you to watch ads for extra lives.
Growing up my mom didn’t understand this and always insisted that the sink plungers were the only kind that worked (she also called them toilet plungers) and that toilet plungers (the fancy kind) were some kind of trick. Took until I was in college that I learned you shouldn’t have to break a sweat unclogging your toilet.
I mean that’s not really a problem specific to EVs. But yeah I also drive an aging car because I don’t want one with 10x more failure points.

The problem isn’t that the energy is too cheap, it’s that there’s too much of it, which is why it’s so cheap. An electrical grid can only support so much power and there is no cost effective way to store enough energy to run the grid for any appreciable amount of time, so it all must be used or else the system becomes unstable.
Because they would have brownouts overnight and when the weather was bad.
Just make it turn back by 3 clicks. If you’re watching the clock closely enough to notice at midnight you should go to bed anyway 🤷♂️

I recently agonized over this decision a bit and went with a Bambu. When it comes down to it, the prusa printers are just really hard to justify given that you are paying more money for fewer features even if you assemble it yourself.
I agree with what others have said that the reliability and longevity of Bambu printers is a concern, but frankly if I’m still into printing in a number of years and Bambu starts to really enshitify, I’ll build a Voron or get something even better that hasn’t come out yet.
I’m not sure you could go to most hospitals and get an MRI just because. Diagnostic tests still carry risks, especially MRIs given how strong the magnetic field is and that you can’t easily turn them off.
How does a chiropractor prescribe an MRI? Seems like that shouldn’t be possible 🤔

Unity has been rent seeking for awhile. In my mind, a big issue is the unity asset store, which apparently is where they actually make most of their money. Unity collects a 30% cut of all sales and imposes pretty restrictive licensing terms. This is annoying, but not a huge deal for things like art assets, but it creates a huge perverse incentive when you look at plugins and tools.
The best way for unity to make money in the business model they’ve created is to add a bunch of seemingly simple but not very comprehensive systems to the engine. Then, rather than refine these features they can wait for 3rd party developers to fill in the gaps with plugins that must be sold on the unity asset store. This allows unity to scoop up a bigger revenue stream on top of the licensing income without having to do any additional work.
I don’t see this being sustainable
It really depends on how you’re using unity. If you’re dependent on a lot of the built in components or asset store plugins or the rendering pipeline you’re going to have a hard time.
I’m sure someone will try, but it seems nearly impossible to do this in a way that’s actually useful. Most game engines are going to have fundamental differences that won’t easily map to the unity way of doing things
Oh boy making an atx power cable sounds like a good way to raise your blood pressure.
And starfield itself is useless without a huge stack of technology that someone else made. That’s just how software works.
Yeah I have a habit of doing this and then testing the link to find the smallest possible version. Mostly because I find it annoying when I want to text a link to someone and it takes up an entire page of the chat.
