For the cost it would take to downsize you would be better off just buying a smaller printer. Maybe sell the plus to offset the cost? Or maybe build an enclosure/end table around the printer to hide it away when not in use

Literally use one just like this to feed filament to the extruder - has feed and retract buttons and can also double as a filament runout switch as well

Actually, when you put it that way - I can totally see your point I have 3 large footprint printers but x and y are really what used most, for big z index prints I have a print mill

Are the teeth worn down? Maybe it’s time to replace the gears. (Throwing stuff at the wall here) other than that it sounds like maybe there is a piece of filament stuck somewhere rubbing against the gear?

~~ haven’t seen anyone mention this somehow, but this is most likely caused by a draft hitting that part of the print and causing it to cool at a different speed than the rest. Easy test, get a big cardboard box and put it over the printer and redo the print. You might need to invest in a cheap printer enclosure ~~

Edit: never mind I totally missed the part where you mentioned you had a heat enclosure

It always felt to me they wanted to create what star citizen is supposed to be someday (press x to doubt) and the. Looked at no mans sky and were like, we should add that too! And then realized the scope of that was ridiculous and half assed both of those parts.

Feedback: that’s a great screen shot. I really enjoyed playing this screenshot. The screenshot download was fast and I was able to run it from my phone.

I bought the early access, it’s pretty fun with a bit of jank, but the jank is minimal - it’s worth a purchase I think, especially if you like elder scroll type games
