The more people use Firefox, the better. Lots of people had to use Internet Explorer for things… Until they didn’t because Chrome was faster and web devs focused on browser-agnostic technologies.

My favorite is how they claim that PRC doesn’t invade anyone, ignorant of their attempts in Korea (Korean War) and Vietnam (after the Americans left).
I need this poster or canvas printed so I can hang it on my office wall…
Stupid and unlikely thought I had: The West don’t want Russia to know just how weak it really is against the West so that Russia doesn’t kick itself into high gear trying to truly modernize its forces by eliminating the grift and corruption that plagues its MIC. A Russia plagued by a corrupt military is a Russia that is essentially toothless in an armed conflict.
Of course, this doesn’t excuse not allowing deep Russian strikes with already provided equipment.
I’ll admit I don’t know how Lemmy works in communicating to each other. However, Internet traffic is labeled in some manner. It has to be to ensure data traverses the web of routers we call the Internet. Lemmy instances have to identify each other to share their information to each other.
Just ban whatever traffic Lemmy instances are looking for.
Did you read the article? They only said that the process to vote went smoothly, despite all the stations having only one machine for 800 voters, causing long wait times and delays. They don’t mention anything about third party confirmation of the vote tallies, no references to exit polls, and a huge section dedicated to US interference.
Might as well say “Far left organization supports supposedly far left authoritarian governments word without verification.”
Multi-Account Containers and Sidebar Tabs for me. Gotta keep those (work) sessions secure and easy to find.
Japan’s economy is only going to get worse. I don’t think they’ve resolved their population decline and aging demographics.
Yeah, then you want to utilize the Multi Account Containers extension. And I would recommend the Tree Style Tab alongside it but I know sidebar tabs aren’t everyone’s thing.
I’ve been using these two a lot. And I have to have not only multiple O365 profiles, but multiple AWS sessions as well. You can even set the containers up so that certain urls only open in specific containers.
What’s the goal with the profiles? Is it to keep separate sessions or keep separate accounts with specific bookmarks?
I use Firefox and there are 5 extensions I install every time and two of those are Containers and Tree Style Tab.
How did it get so bad? Is there a tl;Dr anywhere that explains it fully?
The article suggests Iran is losing its influence on its proxies. That’s an interesting take, but I wouldn’t hold my breath that it would help simmer things down.
Lots of Chinese seem themselves as white. And plenty of Asians consider lighter skin to mean wealth and upper class.
Plenty of people obviously care. The Pope influences the lives of hundreds of millions directly and indirectly. Especially, people in power who have the ability to enact religiou -based laws that affect everything
There was a bug where Karlachs romance never materialized in Act 2 if you didn’t do things in a specific order.
They have a patrol fleet there, just like other Navies, to ensure freedom of operations. Speculation is that these vessels are meant to takeover the existing patrol fleets duties, but because of the absence of American vessels, due to Israel, the new Chinese vessels will linger longer, or more permanently.
That’s currently what I’m seeing in terms of style these days. The prevalence of body positivity has allowed people to wear things that flatter themselves. There will always be the crowd that tries something new, but no one is going to be shunned for trying something that works or is comfortable.
I’m in the last act and nearing the big bads… But bugs are getting more frequent. One of them allowed me to traverse the entire foundry without starting a fight. One bug wouldn’t let me remove one of the party members from my group after they got knocked unconscious and I couldn’t help them up.
So it’s been a slog of frequent saves and reloads. Still enjoying the game, though. And can’t wait to start a 2nd playthrough.
You’ll only really notice it when things are moving and only when it’s about 60+ frames per second. Otherwise, your display is just refreshing static objects more frequently. It will not have anything to do with quality of images. You might notice an increase in responsiveness since the screen refreshed sooner, but that is generally minimal.
There’s lots of costs to AWS. They’ll rope you in with the whole free tier for compute and storage. But AWS has charges for outbound traffic, detailed logging, elastic IPs, etc.
It’s a whole job to just do cost analysis for cloud services.
