Tax dollars are paying for that right?
I’m Dutch myself, but i know a lot of people who can’t afford another increase in cost of living…i’m quite certain America has many more people in the same situation.

I wonder what would happen if Google manages to destroy itself with increasing shenanigans like this.
I mean, so much of digital based stuff relies on them for some extent.
Or bad performance on near new overpriced hardware.
Turns out i’m gonna buy a steamdeck with them using linux and thinking of things like this.
I just need to wait a bit as the most expensive season is around the corner, i’m just glad our Dutch black friday doesn’t outdo any regular discount making it a near necessity to wait for black friday.
A construction worker here receives twice my hourly wage.
And then they leak/sell your email so for each cancelation you receive 7 different new spam mails on a daily basis.
At least that’s what it seems like most of the time.
I haven’t seen Louis Rossman’s new video where the thumbnail claims their war on adblockers is backfiring, but i’m quite curious as i also found an adblocker for my smart tv that i’m going to try out when i get home from work.
Wait…so, if i understand this correctly yeah…the Deck might upen us all up to a future of Linux as our operating system as gamers?
Seeing how popular it is etc, might that actually be on purpose? Excuse me being dumb, i just play games and that’s it basically no real computer tech knowledge.
Good lad, fuck 'm all.
I’ve also cancelled mine.
I actually don’t most of the time, but i’m not going to explain our dynamic to some weirdo on the web just to protect myself against something that has less than zero consequences in my life.
If i’m home alone i boil those italian pillow things with cheese and tomato in then, throw in some pesto and eat straight from the pot i used to heat it up.
Only need to clean the pot and a fork.
When the wife cooks…my god, even when she’s home alone. She always manages to use every single plate, bowl, pots and silverware we own and leaves it.
I’ve refused to buy more silverware etc because i know for a fact she is going to use that too and stack it on top of all the other dirty dishes.
I just want to point this out: Louis Rossman is trying to fix this in a way, by allowing people to subscribe to a person and not one of their platforms, so if they get banned their new platform of choice will show up to all of their subscribers instead of them having to try and move their audience to a new nearly unused platform.
They played rust during their down time huh
I do everything on a roadbike and fixed gear, which are claimed to have the highest risk of getting a flat tire.
I usually have 2 flats a year which cost around 6€. I usually get a new pair of tires roughly once a year “just to be safe” when i notice the rubber showing oddities or they start losing grip a little. I usually go for continental GP (4kII/5k) tires if they are discounted and pay roughly 80€ for a pair.
I’m curious to see if this “no flat” tire will be cheaper and if it can be run tubeless.
Not yet, i’m still working on getting it all back together as i need different connectors and some other hardware.
I thought it would be an easy way to save roughly €100, but alas.
I have a copy of my current settings, dimensions etc. So it should get me some safe variables to start it up once it’s time to test if everything is ok.
If you’re wondering why i haven’t replied yet…a friend said it should be easy to put the 5 pro mainboard into my 5 plus, so i decided: “might as well as it’s already apart for upgrades and maintenance”
Turns out it’s not that simple and requires a fair deal of adjustments like the bltouch connector and it only has on Z stepper motor connector on the board.
And i need to figure out how to do the firmware etc…
I’ve known Bethesda as the: “fun bug ridden producer” i’m curious to see what this does as it’s time to step away from delivering broken stuff.
I have a different one apparently, the bondtech ddx. It comes with it’s own smaller stepper motor. I ordered a new gear either way since they have an upgraded version now, but mine seem to be on a round axle with bearings.
Little addition though, i completely took apart the extruder to check. The gear that is directly on the extruder is STUCK on there lol. The other secondary gears are on bearings and all still look brand new apart from a tiny amount of filament shavings that i cleaned out right away.
It might be in part that i messed up the thumb screw tightness because i wasn’t aware of their specific instructions. I usually just tightened it to: “meh, feels right” and haven’t had a similar issue before.
My printer is in parts atm as i ordered a new hotend, i’m still waiting for replacement springs as i broke one within 10 minutes of receiving the hot end.
I got my e3d hotend and it took me a full 6 minutes to break it. I turned the bottom to line up the cables so it would fit in the bondtech thing and i managed to bend the spring enough that i couldn’t remove the nozzle anymore.
In an attempt to free it i completely fucked up the spring, so i’m back to ordering parts again.
So that’s why Instagram is the way it is, i assumed it was fairly small but it has attracted a rather toxic userbase and i don’t actually enjoy it anymore.
It used to be a place where i could share my joys and people with similar interests would follow me because they enjoy my joys too.
But now it’s just tiktok, at least i assume seeing it’s all reels and loud noises.
