Had the pleasure of playing an early version last year, very cool to see how much of it has “settled” and the direction is crystal clear now. Love the little mechanics

“The problem is that for Russian developers, communication with the community, including the international one, and technical support are implemented through Discord,”
Well that’s their problem, isn’t it? It’s also a problem over here. Technical support regarding simple questions is fine, but any in-depth troubleshooting should honestly be done outside of Discord.
Ah I should have checked that, yeah. That will bump up the average by quite a bit. Thanks for the logic to my conspiracies, I should have known better
Can we pin this post as an example kthnx
My Asus laptop draws (a maximum of) 200W as far as I can tell.
This is not my model but here’s the tech sheet for a different one: https://www.asus.com/laptops/for-gaming/tuf-gaming/asus-tuf-gaming-a14-2024/techspec/
It’s only 30 people that have pledged the $14,670. This almost averages to $500 per backer, which is a lot higher than the global average.
My theory? They are arranging the pledges themselves to make it look like they are desired.
It’s a demo. If you hit the “learn more” button above it, the same link is posted under the button “download demo”
This might shock you, but Nintendo was also working on the Switch before it was revealed
I don’t think there’s a big problem by using upvotes, downvotes and comments as systems that can show the popularity or controversy of a post.
Imo the bigger problem is in the comments using the same voting system. For starters, everyone the system in a different way. Most notably example is downvoting to disagree.
Secondly, because we are evolutionary wired to try and fit in, you either consciously or subconsciously try to create a comment that will give you the best chances at seeing the numbers go up and receive validation from your peers.
Personally I think the system is fine to keep running under the hood to keep the sorting algorithms available and maybe for moderation purposes, but it would be great if we wouldn’t be able to see them at all as to not be influenced by the connections we make between votes and post content.
It’s definitely a dosage thing, but cats don’t really have any brakes when it comes to chewing on shit. So they will chew anything that looks like grass, which can be dangerous when you have toxic succulents that have large leaves.
I second the drainage comment, hopefully it does have holes at the bottom. Otherwise instead of succulents I would recommend OP to put in “air plants” (Tillandsia) as they don’t need soil and draw moisture from the air.
There are apps that can help identify plants if you’re not sure what you’re looking at. Highly recommend to ID them just in case. Some can be irritating, others can make your pets very sick. Please be careful!
Please double check the types of succulents in there! I think they are safe (the crassula perforata variegata is safe at least), but some can be toxic to cats!
Nintendo said they will announce/reveal something this fiscal year, that’s it. No word about launch.
The rest are just rumours and just a bunch of dudebro’s who replaced 2023 with 2024, and now have to scribble in 2025 pretending they never said they were 99% sure it was releasing earlier.
It’s a simpler game for sure. There were only 4 civilizations (Norse, Egyptian, Greek, Atlantian) and they were all very different from one another compared to AoE. Each civilization had multiple deities to choose from for some more specific buffs and abilities. Every type had unique mythical units as well, and these units are quite large so maps felt a bit smaller in comparison. Overall the maps were smaller than AoE anyway, but not in a bad way.
Then instead of stone there was favor, a resource like the rest (food, wood, gold), acquired by putting townies at your temple to pray. All in all it was pretty similar to AoE but it felt a lot less serious. I played a lot at LAN parties and we always had a blast though!
Stop expecting handouts with 0 effort especially when the answer is one tap away.

There are actually Boo Guys resembling Shy Guys: https://mario.fandom.com/wiki/Boo_Guy
I think this is one of those cases were thinking logically isn’t really going to solve anything. Nintendo does whatever, consistency be damned
Yep, I was only summarizing their angle. Here are the specifics for anyone who wants to read the source documentation: https://partner.steamgames.com/doc/features/keys#3
The only thing that doesn’t sit right with me is developers stating Steam threatened to delist the game when they expressed wanting to sell elsewhere. I haven’t seen any proof except just the statements, but it would be weird for a developer to lie about that stuff. If anyone has any more sources on that, it would be appreciated
