Hopefully most “sign” of mental illness in this scenario is lowkey because it’s not due to a mental illness.

It can be from anxiety or just being very introverted. Which can be hard to deal with but still somewhat lowkey to a mental illness.

It will never fill the social bar irl but for some it can fill the fun bar.

Largely depend on your level of anxiety and creativity.

In what cafes and sandwich shop do you go to? I’ve never seen one that was closed during launch hours.

It’s getting rarer but their is some that only open in launch hours instead of the whole afternoon, restaurant can have some specific services hours. (And some cafes stop serving drinks while serving food.)

French culture is to eat at specific hours, so it would be almost impossible to serve food only outside those.

You know beauty isn’t just the word we use for aesthetic beauty, we also use it for concepts, such as this one.

Elitist entail their is a technical reason behind it, otherwise it’s only gatekeeping.

In music it can be some music theory, prodigious playing, complex sound design etc…

I did fall a bit into this idea of elitism too at first. It’s easy when you are just starting to educate yourself and only see the technique.

But then at some point you gotta start having opinions and preferences that goes beyond rationality, or your not really enjoying an art form.

You can still be a bit elitist, but then it’s only personal and you stop gatekeeping.

That said the technical aspects can be very interesting.

Moreover I also love the way anyone passionate about music describe what they like.

I love that linear extrapolation you know is only there to lie even more on a graph that’s already a baseless correlation.

In terms of control yes, but it also depend if you use a keyboard or a controller.

It’s pretty well adapted for controller and if you use one then your movement is like any third person game, like the Witcher.

While keyboard has that point to move like Kenshi. Note that there is a mod to switch to the controller movement using wasd.

So if you wish you can move like the Witcher, the gameplay though is strategy turn based, like xcom or gear tactics, so nothing to do with it.

Well it’s a rpg, so plenty of fans are gonna want more tools to choose their appearance…

hairstyles (Tav’s are great) appearance edit ehanced basket full of equipment and transmog enhance etc…

Those kind of mods really gives you all the choices you can get to dress and create you character.

Then there is also some quality of life…

The names are self explanatory, to the players that wants those functionality they can be necessary.

Now i’m a bit exaggerating by saying “most fans” because, in fact, most of them don’t use mods. But those who like me really can’t get enough of mods like this to personalize your experience.

Well it’s not like a Skyrim (obviously), but I mean that there isn’t big changes in textures or content for example.

There is some extremely useful mods though. I’m thinking quality of life stuff and appearance choices mostly. The latter was a bit buggy with the updates for me, but i think it got better now.

I think the amount of downloads comes from how necessary these are to most fans, rather than the quantity and quality of big mods.

(Although some small mods like hairstyle are quite high quality to be fair)

P.S. One pretty big exception is 5e spells that do add a lot of much wanted content

If you liked it for the story, bg3 definitively will not disappoint in that regard.

The gameplay is pretty different though, less action, more strategic… It’s not to everyone’s taste, but still worth trying regardless i think.

Ho you’re right i’ve missed this one but it looks pretty good, especially for eldritch blast in a sorlock build…

Technically their is a way around it, but it’s not really meant to since after that their isn’t much to do.

You’ll have plenty of decision like that though, this one is just the first scripted one to show what you will be able to choose later on, it’s pretty smart.

Ha the hardest decision of all role playing games…

Interesting, i think my question popped up because i never really felt the effect of my environment on my circadian cycle.

So i wasn’t to much aware that people feel tired or the need to wake up at specific times of the day. I’m someone that can adapt like you said.

For me the only thing that i felt had an impact was if a specific hour is a habit. Then you feel way better sticking to it.

(That and of course the amount of sleep)

Question, is anyone really a night owl or morning person, or is it just that we builded habits that our body fully integrated?

In asia the bugs are often put with other condiments, lollipop, spices etc… to make them taste something.

And they are mostly like snacks. I don’t know any culture that have them take the place of a meat in a dish.

Land bugs mostly have pretty blend or bad taste, regardless of their looks anyway. In Asia they often add spices to make them taste something.

It’s a bit like snails too, it’s not that tasty itself, the only reason it’s good is because it tastes like the butter and garlic we put in.

And for both it’s mostly the texture that’s off putting. Some people can grow used to the texture though.

It’s gross sure but i never understood how that would make someone stop eating it. For me no matter how gross something is the taste is the only thing that matters.

Other examples, rabbit’s brain, black pudding, or in general how we kill most animals to make steak… It’s always creepy, gross or a bit disturbing, but it never changed my taste for it.
