Yes, you specify that someone is a trans woman by saying “trans woman”. You don’t say “transwoman”, because it’s not a word.
FYI, trans woman and woman are the same noun. Transwoman isn’t a word, and the reason people don’t want it to be a word is that making “trans woman” a different noun from “woman” implies they’re not the same thing. Trans women are women, and that’s why the noun is the same. Trans is an adjective.
Ebook piracy is a thing. Often done by the same professor who wrote the textbook.
Ignoring the fact that “ghost gun” is a meaningless and intentionally emotionally charged term
A ghost gun is what Emporio used to escape from Pucci in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean
You’ve got it the wrong way around. Dopamine is the motivation chemical. Serotonin is the satisfaction chemical. You need dopamine before you can do things, and doing things is how you get serotonin.
We see dopamines in rat brains when we give them treats, cause they’re gaining motivation to solve more mazes and get more treats.
You’re your prefrontal cortex and you pilot the rest of your brain like a meat mech.
They said they were posting to upset me here: https://kbin.social/m/memes@sopuli.xyz/t/272967/-/comment/1242402
OP has been triggering me on purpose. Not being an asshole on purpose isn’t an unreasonable accommodation.
I’m not American
Internet points are a source of pride, and until yesterday it was disability pride month
I am completely apathetic about them. I think they’re boring.
Ant Man is the most powerful Avenger.
Disability isn’t cringe
It’s called lateral violence, and it’s unfortunately very common. They don’t believe I have PTSD because they don’t want to believe I have PTSD. If I were genuinely triggered by something they did on purpose, they’d be a total asshole. They don’t want to think of themself as a total asshole, so they invented a justification to accuse me of faking trauma. It’s such a common thing for abusive people to do that it’s what the meme at the top of this thread is about.
I don’t think jokes about triggering PTSD on purpose are funny. I think those are the kinds of jokes reactionaries make when they find the existence of disabled people offensive.
My criticisms of the “dictatorships are great” show also follow the rules
Here’s OP saying they post these names to upset me on purpose: https://kbin.social/m/memes@sopuli.xyz/t/272967/-/comment/1242402
Yes, that’s better. When I was abused as a child I survived through self advocacy. Now self advocacy is my trauma response. I’ve learned to keep my calm and construct reasonable arguments why I shouldn’t be attacked, even while I’m panicking on the inside. For example, my reasonable argument why OP shouldn’t deliberately post memes in order to trigger me is that that’s mean, and my reasonable argument why they shouldn’t accuse me of faking trauma is that that’s literally what they said is abusive.
Two of those are links to the same post, and two of them are not examples of me saying the show triggers my PTSD. You asked if I say the show triggers my PTSD on every post.
I can’t see any history discussing the change before today, but the posts from before today also seem to be more inclusivity-minded than this one. Maybe it’s just a huge oversight and they forgor. But it’s definitely not a nice look. The new rules also say you’re not allowed to report content for things that aren’t a violation of the terms of service. So if you report a content for being racist, that’s against the rules.
