1·5 months agoI paid for AMdroid because I can set profiles, Geo fence, have math problems to turn off alarms, fade in music, turn on my flashlight… All the bells and whistles. I would love a FOSS version, but many try to be single feature. I like all the things.

I don’t know much about the fair phone I do remember a day when cellphone batteries were user replaceable and back then you could get third party larger batteries with larger cases. Is that available for the fair phone?

1·1 year agoThe original concit was peanuts and chickpeas, not hummus, are similar. Hummus has garlic and sesame seed puree added. Individually I know those things have sweet analogues, halawa and garlic icecream respectively.

The fact that it was waterproof, had the built in strap holder for securing it.
Make it lightweight durable and super long battery life (small screen, OLED) and you have a great device you wouldn’t need to baby.
Unfortunately it’s never going to happen. They don’t do niche phones now. Everyone seems to have accepted phones are going to be generic slabs of glass. All about the same size. Boring.
