Maybe try a darker stain? You said you used construction wood and well… It shows. And when in contrast with the nicer boards you used, it makes the “feature” wood look like rotten planks found on the side of the road. A darker stain on the construction wood might help it blend more.

If you are boiling it down to the absolute basics, I guess you can try to say that. But at that point, damn near any movie where the main character is trying to stop a criminal of some sort is a “cop drama”.

Let me give you a hypothetical that’s close to reality. Say an artist gets very popular, but doesn’t want their art used to teach AI. Let’s even say there’s even legislation that prevents all this artist’s work from being used in AI.

Now what if someone else hires a bunch of cheap human artists to produce works in a style similar to the original artist, and then uses those works to feed the AI model? Would that still be stolen art? And if so, why? And if not, what is this extra degree of separation changing? The original artist is still not getting paid and the AI is still producing works based on their style.

And what if the human running the AI likes one of these “mistakes” and tells the AI to run with it?

Let me get this straight; you actually think Elon Musk, himself, combed through images he personally saved, found the X, and personally submitted it as the logo replacement.

You don’t think, maybe, just maybe, a man with more money than God might have gotten someone else to do it? I can see him being out of touch and not caring enough about quality to say “go with that one” without checking where it came from. But I just can’t see Musk himself looking through fonts to find an “X” that he likes.

If it was always going to happen, now isn’t really a bad time. Sure, a month ago would have been better, but people still haven’t been here that long. If I wind up needing to migrate, and lose my current account, oh well. No big loss. I imagine others feel similar.

Have you considered the possibility that if innovation were to slow, and companies DIDN’T insist on quarter-after-quarter growth, the world might just continue to turn? That while the richest individuals may be slightly less rich, the vast majority of people would continue their lives with no negative consequences?
