There IS a difference between reality and fantasy. We see it all the time.

There is an actual fetish for consesual non consent aka rape fantasy/roleplay. If we allow that people routinely engage in fake rape, then why are you surprised if anything else is sexualized. People are weird.

But is it not just as disturbing to you when people glorify violence and gore such as the Saw franchise?

Im clearly (to me anyway) responding to the conversation about outcomes and intents you quoted, but was reply to the conversation between you and the other person. Was trying to offer more support to your position since neither of you mentioned the facet i brought up. I may have rambled a bit but re reading it im not sure why you responded the way you did.

Im not that invested in this though so im just going leave it as i was agreeing with you, intent is a useful tool to use in any incident of judgment. Not one that needs to be used in the judgement, but needs to be considered before judgment

Hard disagree on that answer. We have found thousands of possible planet candidates already and we aren’t looking that hard, relatively. The second we have the technical capability to actually get to any other solar system there will be a new instrument in space with the explicit purpose of finding planets we want to travel to

Edit. This new instrument will not magically appear, i meant we will start the process of building one and putting it in place asap

The obvious solution to this is to just not send the faster shios to the new planet, or do but use it as a hub for further travel, and let the sleeper ship people fulfill their literal purpose.
