This really is accelerating.
This really is accelerating.
Wow thanks I had not realized this.
Thanks that is what I was curious about. So good news!
How did India get like this? I imagine it’s the TV and news and now internet sites that pushed a large potion of the population into this extreme right wing?
Do LLM or that AI image stuff run on CUDA?
Fuck Stoltenberg, he’s a vile war monger. He’s one of the architects of the Ukraine war.
And he’s an idiot for even taking the bullshit trump is vomiting up serious. I mean really, this is clearly total bullshit. Taking it seriously actually helps trump. His base loves him for this shit and how libs freak out about it.
Yeah, why take Russia seriously at all? :D

- The Court considers that, with regard to the situation described above, Israel must, in accordance with its obligations under the Genocide Convention, in relation to Palestinians in Gaza, take all measures within its power to prevent the commission of all acts within the scope of Article II of this Convention, in particular: (a) killing members of the group; (b) causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group; © deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part; and (d) imposing measures intended to prevent births within the group. The Court recalls that these acts fall within the scope of Article II of the Convention when they are committed with the intent to destroy in whole or in part a group as such (see paragraph 44 above). The Court further considers that Israel must ensure with immediate effect that its military forces do not commit any of the above-described acts.
- The Court is also of the view that Israel must take all measures within its power to prevent and punish the direct and public incitement to commit genocide in relation to members of the Palestinian group in the Gaza Strip.
- The Court further considers that Israel must take immediate and effective measures to enable the provision of urgently needed basic services and humanitarian assistance to address the adverse conditions of life faced by Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
- Israel must also take effective measures to prevent the destruction and ensure the preservation of evidence related to allegations of acts within the scope of Article II and Article III of the Genocide Convention against members of the Palestinian group in the Gaza Strip.
Tell me again how you’re a lawyer who read the order lol. But we’ve seen again and again how Israel operatives lie to justify their fascist regime and their genocide.
Yeah but they’d loose too! :D
I wonder if people forgot, or maybe gen Z and millenials never really know how bad nuclear weapons are. Even a regional nuclear exchange would probably lead to a nuclear winter and then a nuclear summer, completely fucking the climate. As long as we have them, it’s inevitable that we’ll eventually use them. Just the law of large numbers / Murphey’s law. The wars climate change will cause will make that even more likely. But hey, lets keep playing stupid games.
Yeah right, NATO commands far more nuclear warheads than Russia! They’d definitely loose in a thermonuclear exchange!
You could be right but the way the media here works is that they do report the facts but bias them. The headline sets the tone, and how the article is written makes it more likely to come to one conclusion. So it would take much more work to make my point. But I’m pretty sure: Even if they do technically report the facts there is a huge bias to manipulate the population in the “free” press.
In this case something like “ooohh too bad the court didn’t give the arabs what they wanted poor guys!” while it really was a legal victory - the court specifically ordered them to stop killing of palestinians.
I can’t read newspapers without getting super angry lol
Not just Israel, all the countries that defunded the humanitarian aid.
The article at least mentions that even though the order didn’t demand ceasefire, it practically did very explicitly:
The State of Israel shall … desist from the commission of any and all acts within the scope of Article II of the Convention, in particular:
(a) killing members of the group;
(b) causing serious bodily or mental harm to the members of the group
Many western media had the headline “no ceasefire ordered” which made the order sound like it was nothing. The western media too is complicit in atrocity.
Most useful application so far seems to have been to predict protein folding. Have to check up on that, it should allow to cure all sorts of bad things.
Read the article, some of the accusations were made up by some Israeli extremist group and then were pumped into us media by pretty sophisticated operations.
Maybe with an advanced lemmy app, but from the website it doesn’t work from my experience. Or is incredibly clumsy.
There is btrfs - a linux filesystem. It keeps hashes for blocks to prevent data rot. And you can configure it into a raid that duplicates data across drives but doesn’t require the exact same drives. You can just group any old drives together to create one large volume where everything is duplicated. At least that is how I understand this, I’m new to this too.
I wish I could use it but it’s only supported on few phones that tend to be more expensive and older.
Or a better “landing page” like an app that can manage multiple instances easily. Or merge multiple communities from different instances. But running in my browser. I’m sure this is in the works with the other lemmy clients or self hosting.
I always used websites to search for ed2k content much like with torrent. The internal search was more like a last resort. It would have been nice to have p2p shared indexes that just use public keys for authentication and you have to choose to trust them. Or something like a trust chain. And you can still fork them. Something I still miss for torrent.
But anyway, I still believe getting more websites “invested” into torrent or tracker hosting ultimately boosted torrents over ed2k. A bit of a paradox. Of course this is just speculation.
It’s all the fault of anteeefa! /s
