Is there a Lemmy community for game preservation and decompilation? Or is this community the best at getting news like this for now? :)

I read two posts in time of peace, and two in time of war
I read two posts before I read two posts, and then I read two more
Thank you for actually explaining Donnie Darko. The people I’ve talked with about it think it’s about a boy and his schizophrenia
The PSP emulator PPSSPP works the best. Potentially, this would be the better choice for this game.
Otherwise, IIRC RPCS3 is the best PS3 emulator. I just find it janky to get it performing well (For Skate 3, at least)
Really considering moving my main computer to Linux with the way things are going
Those discounts are nothing as compared to buying used.
I so hope that the next consoles will have disc drives…
Which ones are nazi flags?
Can’t have trauma if you can’t remember you have trauma 😎
This just shows how putting all eggs into one basket is a bad idea.
Only the fewest of few instances should have used .ml - they should have spread out. This is the beauty of the fediverse when done as intended.
The only drawback I see, is that people want to make instances bigger, scaling tall, when they should have been scaling wide + wanting to use the same odd TLD. We reap what we sow.
Only one went down - most everyone else are still up.
This is the opposite of a blow. It directly shows the resilience of the fediverse.
If you want to make a paper on “The history of fucking over video game consumers” this dataset is invaluable.
A roundabout way of saying no. I was hoping that sponsor block could be used in the browser
That’s a nice gang. Does it also skip in-video ads?
YouTube ReVanced gang 😎
Probably because you’re pressing a link to a post of another instance, but it resolves to your instance instead.
Meaning that, you’ll be shown a post with the same ID on your own instance - where you should have been shown the post with the ID of another instance.
Either you’re using an app, and it hasn’t accounted for this yet - or the person who made the link didn’t format it correctly are my best guesses.
Either one community will become big and the other small.
Or, the two communities will start going into niches (like, one being more focused on movies and the other games)
And seeing as you can subscribe to both, I assume that these communities will assist each other.
The strength of federation is that you have no “one-true-community” anymore. If one gets sick (I.e. Reddit) you have other safe havens to take over
Isn’t Hit and Run like 20 years old? When is a game retro for you?
