  • Ahh thanks for asking! I’ve just recently started playing the game starting in 1850 on the slowest date speed but it really does seem like a perfect game for autists (cause trains). My experience only goes to 1866, so do take that in fact.

My only reference point is Cities Skylines and obviously speaking the transportation aspect of the TPF2 is way more in-depth than C:S. Currently I’m easily managing the traffic issues, although truck stations can be sometimes a traffic bottleneck. Figuring out train routes, putting down signals, passing lines can be a good brain game for me which gives me a lot of satisfaction if I succeed at it. In terms of difficulty, I’m playing on medium without industry frequencies and the game just “snowballs” in difficulty. So if you prop down 1 or 2 profitable lines then your life already starts to get noticeably easier over time.

  • Not a Deck user, but I’m on EndevaourOS. All the games ran perfectly, expect some minor issues with the Giggleland demo which tried to do some 4th wall things, like grabbing your wallpaper and that one was just a black screen.

    My favorite demos are these:

    • Roman Sands RE:Build is about being stuck in a mysterious world (feels like a purgatory to me) where you wish to escape. The OST is really catchy, and it has some strong Danganronpa inspiration, since the music feels a bit reminiscent about the series and it has the signature gambling gift system in it
    • UNBEATABLE must be a fan favorite for Lemmy, or atleast with the 196 users, since you beat up cops on a rhythm basically. It’s a world where music is illegal, and the characters constantly refer to cops as fascists. Obviously the songs are PEAK. Also watch this trailer plss, it’s so goood.

  • I had a Linux beginners class at my HS in 10th grade but I’ve forgot about Linux, until 12th grade when 2 of my really nerdie friends started shilling Linux to me, especially pointing out that now you can play windows games on Linux, and not too long after I eventually did the jump when starting my comp sci uni (19 years old) with Manjaro as a first, but I have found happiness in EndevaorOS due to Manjaro being unstable.
