Well, “christian” parties are usually not very christian. Fundamentalist sometimes, yeah, but not very christian. And here in Germany, the CDU (the Christian Democracts) were composed mostly out of fascists that survived the denazification, so they played the conservative game for most of the past decades and now are sympathizing with the alt-right. Exactly what I think as well. Reddit had multiple subs for the same toppic, but only one of them really takes off, and the others just fizzle out or have a slightly more specific focus. Same will happen with the Fediverse.
