Yo. Prolly doing some dumb shit.
I mean, I’m from Canada, so North American library card?
That’s crazy! Thanks for telling me and other pirates about i2p. :)
This link may be useful for you. If the stuff listed in the link doesn’t work, then your library may not have Libby unfortunately. In that case, pirate then.
Like your library doesn’t show up or?
If i2p is completely anonymous, does that mean we can torrent risk free using it?
They asked for audiobook sites online. They’d have to download for that so that wouldn’t work unfortunately. I saved your comment though because it’s still useful.
Have you checked the piracy mega thread? I think they have a few online audiobook sites listed there but correct me if I’m wrong.
Edit: if you have a library card, you could use Libby for listening to audiobooks for free.
What’s wrong with a green bubble? Just curious.
I joined my instance after being on Lemmy.ml about a month ago for a day, and there was so much lag because it was the largest instance at the time. I then switched to my current instance when it only had ~50 users on it and it made the world of a difference. I went from seeing the site crash every 5 seconds and posts taking 30 seconds to submit, to having a stable connection to the Fediverse.
Overall, I feel like everyone should try to join smaller instances to distribute the load so that you don’t have a bad experience, and the instances don’t get overwhelmed. It’s a win-win for everyone.
Ignoring anything so controversial that people are at each other’s throats also helps. Although a healthy bit of disagreement is always fine.
I’ve seen quite a few people suggesting to learn the basics of python first, so I’ll probably do that. Those courses are currently on sale for $19.99 each where I’m at, so I might snag them. Especially because I have a lot of free time on my hands right now. They have video samples of their courses, so I’ll probably check that out before making a decision. Thanks for the course recommendations!
I’ll check out the website and that channel. Thank you!
Thanks for the recommendation! I’ll check out that channel.
Same here, I grew up with consoles (Xbox mostly). I’m not used to keyboard so I don’t play that well on keyboard than I do on controller for most games. The only times I do use keyboard is for point and click or strategy games.
