Is blue hair a fetish now?
Undertale brainrot
Pronouns: they/them is preferred but you can call me something else if you really want to
Is blue hair a fetish now?
It says you have to be 18+. Although I’m not sure how well that’s monitored.
Are Linux kernel lifespans usually that short?
You mentioning that brings back some memories
I really like Lunatask. It’s a task/habit management app kind of like Todoist, but it works better for me personally. The premium version is quite expensive, but the free one is quite okay to work with. And it’s still in development so a lot of features are missing (you can’t set a time for a task for example which I find ridiculous).
Also Ghostwriter, it’s a really nice minimalistic markdown editor. I wish it was a bit more customizable but I guess I could try emacs for that.
Setting up nvidia drivers wasn’t an issue? Well then I guess I was stupid or just extremely unlucky. I ran into so many driver issues on Mint it’s ridiculous.
I always thought a kernel panic ended the graphical session… Turns out I was wrong. Again.
I mean, I see how this could kind of work… but I still think most people would want to use a regular keyboard. Correct me if I’m wrong, but this seems needlessly complicated, especially since most people use and are fine with the system we have now.
I could kind of see where you were coming from before but… yeah now you’ve lost me.
I’m not completely against AI, but I wouldn’t want it having control over every aspect of my life just yet. Besides, if you type where you usually would, what’s the point of changing the layout in the first place? Regular keyboards work just fine for me and most people, I don’t see a reason to reinvent the wheel with some forced AI schtick.
Something that gives you a reminder after a certain time of using a specific program (a game for example). I wanted to make it on my own but my coding skills are absolute garbage so it probably wouldn’t work very well.
Okay so this might sound kinda crazy but
I think it’s broken
I still find them cool. I’m kind of into retro phones I guess
I probably just fell for the most obvious ragebait in existence
but in the unlikely event that you are actually being serious then owning everything would probably wreck your entire system at some point whether directly or not. and looking through the github page it doesn’t seem that hard to install to me, just copy paste one command and you’re done with it… idk never actually had the need to use it.
the amount of hashtags on this post makes my eyes hurt
I watched a whole video essay on these the other day. Companies got away with some wild shit back then
chatgpt only generates text. that’s how it was supposed to work. it doesn’t care if the text it’s generating is true, or if it even makes any sense. so sometimes it will generate untrue statements (with the same confidence as the ‘linux gatekeepers’ you mentioned, except with no comments to correct the response), no matter how well you train it. and if there’s enough wrong information in the dataset, it will start repeating it in the responses, because again, its only real purpose is to pick out the next word in a string based on the training data it got. sometimes it gets things right, sometimes it doesn’t, we can’t just blindly trust it. pointing that out is not gatekeeping.

that’s basically just the disappearance of hatsune miku
Okay so as a Vocaloid fan, I’ll try to explain best as I can
First off, computer voices are just cool, and we just like how a lot of them sound. I love Kagamine Rin’s voice for example, and still would even if she wasn’t a computer program.
Second, the community surrounding Vocaloid is absolutely massive. If you like a real singer, they’ll have a limit to how many songs they can release. But since this is an instrument, anyone can release a song with practically the same voice (practically since people usually tune it differently). There’s music in tons of different genres, by tons of different artists, all sung by Miku.
Third, I’m assuming when you’re talking about ‘appeal’ here you in some part mean the concerts. Well, on these concerts the band covers both original songs made specifically for the event by prominent Vocaloid producers, and band covers of existing popular songs. At least I think that’s how that works, I’ve never been to one before. So there’s not only hearing songs you like on there, but also meeting with like-minded people with the same interest as you. Also the animations for them are just so damn smooth
Four, a lot of us are just weebs
I’m bad at explaining but I hope that helped a bit at least :)
