I was looking at these too a couple days ago but cheapest option is like $500USD without batteries, camera, radio controller, etc. Half of them are so expensive you have to call for a price and shit.

One sticky point that took me a bit to clue in to was you need to login to an x11 session not the default Wayland. Unless sunshine has been updated to support wayland, this was about Feb I discovered that.

To change just log out and select x11 in bottom left corner of the login screen. Dont forget to switch back next time if you arent using sunshine

Since you already have a pixel you should seriously look at grapheneOS.

Prusaslicer has some pretty good stl manipulation tools built-in these days. You can merge, split, add common shapes, subtract shapes, etc.

From the outside looking in, it seems like you should be able to do everything you want right in the slicer.

I’ve found this to be preferable for working with existing stl’s (not as useful for editing) if you dont have the actual step files or 3mf files available.

Fusion360 can run on linux using WINE, HERE is a GitHub repo showing how to set it up.

Thanks for the suggestion. Just tested by adding G92 E0 right after the PRINT_START and PURGE_LINE macros and it still has the same error at the same spot; right as it goes around the circle part of the elbow on the second layer.

I’m not really looking to change slicers at this point. I’ve used Cura in the past and have landed on PrusaSlicer for a variety of reasons and would like to get it working properly again ideally.

I found onlyoffice to have the best compatibility with documents imported from/exported to MS Office. For most people, their coworkers/teachers/professors or whatever will be using MS office, and if the formatting is borked everytime you move the file between libreoffice and ms office users, it gets old fast. That was my experience with libre office and why I ended up on onlyoffice. Of all the suites i’ve tried it has the best compatibility between itself and ms office for formatting.
