I’m really not looking for a Reddit replica. And um, being rewarded for a good comment isn’t really something I need. Or anyone needs. I think getting a cookie for a good comment can be left behind
Edit to add - I should have read the rest of the post more carefully, but I stand by my initial sentiment. Money needs to be funneled into those working hard on this, but I don’t know, I don’t want more and more Reddit features coming out
No fences up my ass here, I didn’t jump so quickly to lemmy to be immediately joined to fucken Facebook. Like. At all. I’d bet a quick poll would speak loudly
Lemmy is not a place for the type of people that end needlessly rude sentences with LOL. Everyone hates the LOL at end
There was also just a huge dump of mods off some big subs, and a post about it on Lemmy with a link…I had been thinking about coming here specifically when I left Reddit, and the mod dump coupled with the link was the perfect opportunity, probably not just for me
