Best justice money can buy. Almost as good as in the US.

At a few billions net worth, the law ceases to be a problem, obviously.
They cannot afford wasting propaganda on the “Enemy”, they need it to keep the starving population under control.
On the other hand: How can they afford those balloons?
Poor idiots.
Who is watching YT videos through this app? I occasionally run into it when clicking on a link on my phone, but I close it before the ads are through. Because it has become nearly as much ads as content, and is completely unbearable. If the video seem important or interesting, I may forward the link to my PC, where I can watch the video without ads.
Sorry, don’t remember, that was somewhere in the 90s or 00s.
I draw the line right behind them. Where the real search results start.
Will they serve it though?
There is a thing called “international arrest warrant”. Of course they are rich enough to hide somewhere where the Swiss have no contract with, but I don’t think they would enjoy that…
On top of that, they come cheap, like many people from Egypt did. If I understand this correctly, you can buy a kind of “Hadjj package” with hotel room, access to AC’ed facilities during the day, food and - most important - drink, and even medical supervision (or at least easy access to medical services). But of course you have to pay for this.
So it is cheaper just to get a tourist visum and do everything outside those guard rails. With the results that this years Hadjj produced. A bunch of Egyptian travel agencies sold the cheaper variant, and then left their customers without any real support inside Saudi Arabia.
I did that Easter calculation for a spreadsheet calender once. Calculating it was easy, getting it into the calendar display was a pain…
There are GSM modems that can be used by the server to send an SMS. I nearly bought one when it was cheap, but noticed just in time that the GSM level of that device was 3, which is no longer available here. And it needs a valid Sim card to work.
Looks good. Does it do Easter calculation?
Probably. Even including the RAM on chip and the rest of the mainboard, too. Take a modern flash chip, and you can emulate a vintage sized HDD with it.
What is their intended market? I see no real use for such a box. Heck, even Linux will probably come to a crawl on that box. And you can probably build something ARM based for the same price with eight gigabytes of RAM and running circles around the 386.
Could be, if the neighbours did smart up.
Good start. They are actually not the only ones in that area where rumors of similar treatment of employees are making the rounds.
Tibet is part of China and brooks no interference from external forces.
I’d like to see Putins face when the Chinese start say things like “Russia is part of China and brooks no interference from external forces.”
Looking for CSAM is only the excuse they put out. Who knows what they are actually after. Maybe they just want to find compromat on people.
I’ll wait and see if they manage to get embedded system debugging to work properly. What I’ve seen in the past has been a pain in the you-know-what in that regard, showing clearly that their main focus was PCs.
