Yeah, I might get back to it sometime. It is a mish-mash of so many video game tropes I love. It was just one particular instance where I forced myself through a dungeon as fast as I could, got frustrated with the boss and died a couple of times, finally made it, and wasn’t fast enough to beat the NPC that just completely ticked me off and made me put it down. Those monk trial things really tested my patience for a bit there, too.
Long, long puzzle dungeons that encourage you to race against the NPCs. I hated that mechanic so much, I never finished the game.
What’s the opposite of brain drain?
I’m taller than most people. I’m always getting a facefull of spider webs. I love spiders, though. Anything that eats mosquitoes gets a pass to mildly inconvenience me now and again.
I only pirate music and books anymore. I do consume it all. Well, most of it. Sometimes I’ll download a series of books and not jive with the first one or something. The music always gets listened to. More than once, too! I’m easy to please. Or I have good taste.
Getting Cicret Bracelet vibes from this one.
Ehh. What’s the average age around here? I’m guessing it wasn’t the youth that migrated from Reddit.
More people should code Csound. Doesn’t matter if you’re musically inclined or not. Just do it. Make weird noises. Have fun!
Pseudoregalia. It’s a 3D platformer/Metroidvania that mimics PSX/N64 graphics. I’m only a couple hours in, but so far it’s fun. The controls are buttery smooth.
Absolutely. I’m an ESL teacher in Korea, and getting my students to use prepositions properly is a significant portion of my job. The difference between something like “He is coming to you.” and “He is coming for you.” isn’t obvious at all if you think about it, but there are definitely proper and improper use cases for them.
History can’t sue you into oblivion for copyright infringement.
I’m using a 2060 with Mint with no problems. Well, short of the game I’m playing (Enshrouded) needing to validate its install every single time I open Steam, but I suspect that’s on Steam.
Quite possibly. I don’t think I’ve ever had any Bluetooth device work without hiccups. My old earbuds used to disconnect or lose pairing all the time. A couple of game controllers I have only worked intermittently for years. My phone is always losing connection in our car. I’ve ironed out some of the problems, but I’ve never had Bluetooth just work for me.
Godot is awesome. I hope all the attention that has been spewed upon them thanks to Unity’s fuck up doesn’t spoil it.
libgdx
Which is a game dev library for Java, so OP was right.
Do I need a mold or something? Can I just buy a tube of resin and use a cup I don’t care about?
This also deserves consideration. More eco-friendly, and it gives me a chance to practice my desoldering skills.
Worse. A classroom.
I would look at that, but I bounced off VIM hard, so probably not for me.
