Yeah, that kind of thing is what fuels a Union. Then the same people who treated you that way can’t figure out how their perfect company ended up unionized.
Treat them like essential assets, your company can’t function without them. Every time they make you extra money, pay them extra money on top of a salary that makes all their peers in other companies jealous.
Cross post bots? Why cross post bots?
Seems like it’s time to make an updated depiction
Lemmy is not a “they” who did this. Lemmy is the platform on which a user decided to share their canvas idea thing. Anyone who is not interested in this idea can block the person who posted it and any community where they see the same idea again.
Yep, time to block the troll
Ah, this is why I don’t know what Bluesky is. I had no interest in Twitter, so shrugs whatever

Yes. But why does a sponsor donate because of the event, but they may or may not give without the event? Why is a planned walk such an effective way to bring attention to a cause and such an effective motivation to donate?
That’s awesome!
I have yet to understand why this works. I go for a walk on a certain day and people give money to something I choose for them, and their donation to the thing I chose is based on me walking?
It clearly does work, and it supports great causes, I just don’t get it.
Goodness, yes. I have used “block community” so many times for Lunux related things. Seems like half the site is gone, but I do feel like I belong more in the communities I’ve found
Sure! Something positive to point out how great that feature is.
Automatically rejecting the salt is huge!
I’m still waiting for someone to come up with something sort of kind of like Place but not a complete clone.
And so it goes when you set impossible standards for yourself built on a misinterpretation of what it means to be a “good person.”
I’m currently starting out on Lemmy.world, any reason to switch over?
Has anyone ever used this advice in real life?
