I would recommend keeping NextCloud always-on - this way your devices will be able to take advantage of background syncing without needing to remember to WoL. This also makes it more useful for other guests, should you choose to share your instance.

Many goals, little time, so we’ll see what actually materializes 😅

1. Reimplement my Grafana+Loki stack on public cloud, replace Promtail with a proper Prometheus pipeline (queries are making my qnap go brrr)
2. Start up an Immich instance and migrate Google photos to it
3. Set up Authentik or something equivalent for the aforementioned services and others. I already have a basic Traefik test config without authentication but still don’t have it working 100%, so everything stays on TailScale for now

Logseq + SyncThing-Fork for me. The killer feature I was looking for to switch from Evernote was voice recording support, logseq is the first thing I’ve found that does a decent job of it while having a solid Workflowy-style “bullets all the way down” interface, which I’ve come to appreciate. The mobile app still leaves a lot to be desired, it’s a little clunky with lots of buttons and very limited swipe gestures. Gets the job done anyhow, and the desktop app is amazing.
